Anisuthide ..

This song from the Kannada movie Mungaru Male has been sung by Sonu Nigam, to the tunes of Mano Murthy. Of course, I have tried my hand at trying to sing it. A bad sore throat, didn't help matters while rendering it.
I thought it's bearable enough, so I am uploading it.

FYI - Mungaru Male has been a rare Kannada Movie, running to packed theaters all over Karnataka. Amazingly, tickets are seldom available for this movie on weekends in PVR, which is supposed to be more english/hindi driven.

Well... trying my hand at an English song here, though it really is not my cup of tea, and I don't follow it much. But this song by MLTR (Michale Learns to Rock) was one which we sang for a school competition around 10 years back. Listen, and TRY to enjoy :D

This song was sung by the talented Pakistani Singer Atif, for a new Music Director Mithoon in the movie Bas Ek Pal (2006). It is a very catchy song, and is really popular these days. Atif is also the singer who shot to fame with the song Woh Lamhe in the move Zeher. I have tried to sing this song, to the best of my ability :) Hope you enjoy :)

Music by A.R. Rehman, enabling yet another National Award for another immensely talented singer in Shankar Mahadevan. Featured on the tamil actor Ajith and Tabu, this is from the movie Kandukondein Kandukondein. I know I have a few more things to rectify in there. But. I thought when I have sung farely well, let’s anyway get the song uploaded :)

A superb song, from the movie Kalyug, 2005. The music is by Anu Malik (copyrights ??!!), the song is sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. This is quite a tough song with a very high pitch in the second and third stanzas, and I really am not a high pitch singer :D. So, bear with me of there is some crackling in between :D . Hope I have done some justice to this amazing song.

This melodious song, launched the oh so talented Unnikrishnan.A.R.Rehman, from his initial days as a music director, always has had the knack of bringing to the fore some amazing vocally gifted talents from across India. And for this song, which was composed by A.R. Rehman, Unnikrishnan went on to win the national award too !!

I hope I haven't disappointed the listeteners with my rendition of this truly beautiful number :)

Mitwa ...

Trying the song sung by Shafqat Amanat Ali , for Shah Rukh Khan in the movie Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna (2006), to the tunes of Shankar Ehsaan Loy and lyrics of Javed Akhtar. I got some expert reviews on this trial of mine, and the opinions seemed to suggest that my voice did not suit the song. I guess, I can't completely dispute such opinions. But, since I did try to render the song, here it is ... :)

Mujhe Raat Din ...

This is sung by the then upcoming, now great singer, Sonu Nigam, for Akshay Kumar in the movie Sangharsh. The music is by Jatin Lalit of Jo Jeet Wohi Sikander and Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge fame. The movie features Preity Zinta as the female lead character and Ashutosh Rana in a not so pleasant negative character.
